American Ceramic Society 64th meeting souvenir glass - 1962 vintage

Original souvenir glass produced for the 64th Annual Meeting of The American Ceramic Society, held at the Commodore Hotel in New York City from April 29–May 3, 1962.

This commemorative piece was printed using colored inks containing Drakotherm pigments by Drakenfeld, a notable detail of interest to ceramic, glass, and materials-history collectors.

The clear glass has matte green and white printed decoration, with a band of historic bottle profiles encircling the base, reflecting mid-century industrial and scientific design aesthetics.
