American Ceramic Society 66th meeting souvenir glass - 1964 vintage
Original commemorative souvenir glass produced for the 66th Annual Meeting of The American Ceramic Society, held at the Palmer House in Chicago, Illinois, from April 18–23, 1964.
This authentic conference glass was decorated using colored inks formulated with Drakotherm pigments by Drakenfeld, a detail of particular interest to ceramics, glass, and materials-history collectors.
The clear glass has a white printed sleeve accented with cutouts and royal blue lettering, emblem, and decorative elements, a clean mid-century design aesthetic typical of American Ceramic Society meeting glassware.
