Vintage 1971 Penaljo "Softlights" pumps in black B.G. leather with a layered patent leather buckle accent. Size 7N (narrow). These shoes are ready to wear with any outfit, but we also think they'd be dandy witch-costume shoes.
Original silver sticker on the sole reads: "Leather Upper, Vinyl Lining, Foam Cushioned Innersole, Non-Leather Outsole."
Comes with the original box and original store receipt. Owner wrote the purchase date of June 1971 on the box lid. Receipt is from Kay's Shoe Store in Newport, Rhode Island. Original purchase price was $17.98. (That's $148 in today money.) A cool piece of documented, dated vintage footwear history.
