Original store display boards with 6 celluloid hair combs and 3 pairs different styles of celluloid hairpins, all lightly sewn to boards. Likely turn of the century.
Best used for display, although they could certainly be used.
SIZE Hairpins are about 3" long and combs 1 5/8" and 1 7/8" wide
CONDITION One comb has come loose. There are areas on 2 of the dark dark dark brown combs that look like the start of deterioration. The threads that hold the combs on to the boards are very old and very fragile. They could easily be sewn on with new thread.
This is an antique item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Every attempt is made to describe it accurately, please examine photos carefully.We want you to love your find.
