Mid century vintage ceramic male mallard duck couple figural planter

Pair of canoodling male mallard ducks figural planter glazed in layered shades of green, brown, cream, peach, and soft pink. The open planter cavity works beautifully as a small succulent planter or vase for short stems, however because it's crazed all over a container should be used to hold water inside. 

Display on a curated shelf of vintage figural planters, vintage bird pottery or mid century ceramic décor. The heavily crazed glaze gives it wonderful age character.

We're not going to go all ornithologist on you, but this is two mallard drakes. The female mallard has a brown head. We think this would be an unbelievable wedding gift for a gay couple.

CONDITION
Good vintage condition. No nicks, chips, or cracks noted. Heavily crazed throughout, consistent with age and adding to its vintage appeal. There is a mineralization ring inside the top edge that can't be seen unless you're looking for it.
