Vintage Clear Pressed Glass Pedestal Cake Stand - Sunflower and Crosshatch Pattern - Octagonal Foot
Vintage pressed glass cake stand featuring a sunflower motif - four sunflowers with cross-hatch x-pattern along the manufacturing seams. The 11" diameter plate has a scalloped rim, and sits atop a octagonal pedestal base with a radiating petal design pressed into the underside of the foot. The heavy, high-quality glass reflects light beautifully, highlighting the detailed floral and geometric motifs. This stand has a ton of character. Heavy as heck.
Age is uncertain. There are a few similar cake stands out there, but there is no consensus on who made it and when it was made. We think it's from the 70s or 80s, but it has character that makes it seem much older like the four seams.
