Vintage Coach Black Leather Chunky Cosmetic Case 7165 Ticking Stripe Pouch

Vintage Coach chunky cosmetic / utility case from the 1990s. Made from Coach’s thick glove-tanned black leather, this piece works as a travel organizer, makeup bag or a minimalist standalone clutch.

This specific model is considered collectible because of its iconic blue-and-cream water-resistant ticking stripe fabric lining. Per Coach manufacturing standards for lined Travel and Accessory small leather goods from this era, this style was made without a traditional full paragraph leather interior creed patch. It includes its original matching single-sided black leather Coach hangtag with a raised cartouche on a vintage brass ball chain.

• Exterior: Very good vintage condition. The black glove-tanned leather is thick, supple, and holds its shape. Smooth zipper function. Light rubbing on the bottom welting on sone side
• Interior: No makeup explosions or ink stains. There are green verdigris spots on the fabric along the interior zipper track from natural brass oxidation, along with typical light dark smudging from natural leather color transfer (crocking) due to decades of contact.
