Pair of 2 vintage wood folding carpenter's rules, both extending to 72" with a metal slide-out extension.
- Evans No. X40, 72", wood with 7" metal slide extension (slide is tight)
- Lufkin No. X46, 72", Red End with 6" metal slide extension (slides easily)
SIZE When folded and laid flat 8 1/16" long x 5/8 inch tall x 2" deep
CONDITION Both have wear to the numbers and markings on the outside sections consistent with age and use. Folding mechanisms still tight and working as intended. Patina and some rust on metal parts.
