Vintage Halloween Die Cut Black Cat Jack O Lantern Witch Moon 16x13 Dennison

Vintage Mid-Century Halloween Die-Cut Black Cat & Jack-O'-Lantern - Witch on Moon - 16" x 13" - Attributed to Dennison. It is a great piece for collectors of vintage Halloween decor, Dennison die-cuts, mid-century paper ephemera, black cat memorabilia, or anyone assembling a retro Halloween display. Priced to reflect condition.

The sweet black cat wearing a pink bow on this large vintage cardboard die-cut Halloween decoration is popping out of a grinning jack-o'-lantern, with the lid atop her head. She is set against a yellow moon with a silhouette of a witch flying on her broom. Bold mid-century colors printed on sturdy chipboard, one-sided.

This piece is unmarked, but it matches the size, style, and printing characteristics of die-cuts produced by the Dennison Manufacturing Co., a leading maker of holiday paper decorations in the mid-20th century. This same cat-and-pumpkin design has been documented as part of a mirrored left/right pair issued by Dennison at this scale. It carries an original 15¢ price tag from Bradlees department stores, which is consistent with a 1950s–60s date.

SIZE Approx. 16" x 13"

CONDITION Good vintage condition with honest wear consistent with age and display use. There is a tape repair at the lower left, plus creasing along the right and lower-left grass edges, and in the upper-left sky area. There is a crease and a small tear on the pumpkin stem. No other tears, no odor.

This is a vintage item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Every attempt is made to describe it accurately. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions. We want you to love your die-cut.
