Vintage Halloween Die Cuts 2 Witch Cauldron Mad Scientist Purple Cartoon 12.5"
Couldn't load pickup availability
Two bright, cartoonish Halloween die cuts, sold together as a pair. Believed to be from the 1980s–90s based on style and construction, though they are unmarked. They are a lighter-weight cardboard that appears to have been perforated and cleanly punched out - perhaps out of a children's activity book, or classroom decor set. Printed on one side, with white backs.
Die cut #1: Witch. A grinning red-haired witch drops something with eyes from a jar into a bubbling cauldron over a fire, while stirring with a stick in her other hand.
Die cut #2: Mad scientist. A wild-eyed, red-haired scientist in a top hat, purple suit, and red-and-blue checked bow tie holds in one white-gloved hand a beaker of bright green liquid bubbling over, and a cane in the other hand.
Both are heavily purple, with big toothy grins that look more nutty than scary. Great for vintage Halloween classroom or home decor, retro party displays, or collectors of Halloween ephemera.
SIZE approx 8" x 12.5"
CONDITION Colors are bright with no fading. Witch has a crease at the tip of her hat; mad scientist has a ¾" tear at the beaker; tape marks on the backs of both.
