Vintage 1956 health poster – Sleep Tonight for Pep Tomorrow – National Tuberculosis Association

This original mid-century 1956 public health campaign poster features the message: “Sleep Tonight - for Pep Tomorrow.” Distributed by the National Tuberculosis Association, it encouraged children to adopt healthy sleep habits — a reminder just as relevant today for the phone obsessed generation.

Printed on the poster is the note: “This poster is distributed by your tuberculosis association in the interest of better health for all children. It is made possible by your purchase of Christmas Seals.”  A piece of public health history as well as Christmas Seals ephemera.

CONDITION Good vintage condition. Shows typical age-related wear, including minor edge tears, a four ink drop spots near the word tomorrow and staining on the back that is lightly visible on the front. Poster has been stored rolled for decades.
