Vintage 1950s Sicily, Italy souvenir plate featuring iconic historic sites and Mediterranean scenery. Creamy white ceramic travel plate with a deep center has a central image of the Roman Theater in Siracusa surrounded by decorative gilt bands.
Wide rim features repeating scenes of the Roman Theater, along with colorful floral accents and additional views of famous Sicilian landmarks including:
• Temple of the Dioscuri in the Valley of the Temples, Agrigento
• Taormina with Mount Etna in the background
The plate has gilt trim with gold brushstroke accents. No backstamp or maker's mark.

SIZE Approximately 12" diameter
CONDITION Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. Some wear to the decorative gold bands and rim from age and display.
