Smoky Pressed Glass Bamboo Tumblers Set of 8, Mid Century Barware, 1960s 1970s Rocks Glasses, MCM Entertaining

$48.00

Set of 8 vintage smoky pressed glass tumblers with a raised bamboo stalk motif; a classic mid-century barware pattern. The vertical bamboo stalks on these rocks glasses have raised circular nodes at the joints and a raised textured fill between the stalks that looks almost like symbols.

We don't know who made these. The pattern is consistent with mid-century American tiki influenced glassware from the 1960s-1970s. They are similar to bamboo patterns produced by Imperial, Anchor Hocking and Libbey. There's no makers mark and we couldn't find a match anywhere on the internet.

SIZE 3.75" tall, 2.5" base diameter, 3.5" mouth diameter

QUANTITY Set of 8

CONDITION Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or nicks. One glass has tiny molding flaw, a small inclusion on the rim. Two of the glasses have molding variations--one has a small hazy half moon and the other has a thread of glass. Neither affects use.
