Snow Crest Beverages of Salem, Massachusetts began in 1923 making fruit-flavored syrups, and later branched into novelty figural bottles like this bear - designed to become a coin bank once the syrup was gone. Snow Crest is also known in bottle-collecting circles for a 1940s trademark dispute with Coca-Cola over its "Polar Cola" branding (Snow Crest won on appeal), adding a layer of regional beverage history to this piece.
SIZE 7" tall
CONDITION Very good, gently used. Glass free of chips or cracks. Cap shows expected wear from age and use but functions properly, screwing on securely.
This is a vintage item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions. We want you to love your bear bank.
