Elegant Wedgwood Columbia White Leigh-shape footed cup and saucer pattern W595, signed on the base by Mark Mayson, a master potter at Wedgwood. The saucer has a center floral medallion with alternating flowers and gold griffins along the rim, accented with geometric borders and green trim. The cup has the same floral, griffin and geometric design around the outside as well as green trim accents on the rim, handle and base of foot.

The saucer is hand signed in gold colored lettering "To Mary Best Wishes Mark Mayson Wedgwood Master Potter 2nd March 1988".  Historically, master potters at Wedgwood would sign pieces at special events, promotions and factory tours.

Cup: 2 3/4" tall; 3 1/4" rim diameter
Saucer: 5 7/8" diameter

CONDITION Excellent pre-owned condition. Appears to have been a display piece. No noted chips, cracks, or other flaws. Decoration and green trim show no visible wear. The hand-written inscription remains clear and legible.
