Vintage Wedgwood Etruria Old Vine Purple Cup and Saucer Sets, 4 Transferware Sets

Set of 4 vintage Wedgwood purple transferware flat cup and saucer sets in the Old Vine pattern. This cream colored earthenware set has plum colored vines, leaves and grape clusters on the inside of the cup and around the outside of the shell edged saucer. This pattern had a nice long run from 1957-1979.

Marked "Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston, Made in England." One saucer's date code indicates it was made in 1961. One of the cups has a different backstamp from the others, but the pattern and colors are the same.

This listing is for four cups and four saucers, which is a good number for special tea parties with your chums. Add these to your existing Old Vine set or blend them into a mismatched china set. It's a classic transferware pattern that plays nicely with other transferwares.
