VIP glass stein with pewter lid and kitschy Drunken Sot poem - vintage barware
Black glass stein for a "VIP" with a crest on front, pewter lid and sassy poem on the back. Turns out that the greatest love..."Is the tender, passionate, infinite love of one drunken sot for another." Who knew? Black applied finish with silver overlay type, crest and band.
SIZE 8" tall, holds 12 oz comfortably and a generous helping of attitude.
CONDITION Black finish is good, the silver overlay is tarnished. We buffed it a little with a polishing cloth, but we didn't want to go all in and damage the finish. Handle slips a bit, see pix, but that appears to be a design flaw.
