W.T. Copeland and Sons gold encrusted dinner plates - set of 10 - 1893 antique plates
Set of 10 antique dinner plates made in England by W.T. Copeland and Sons, imported by the esteemed china merchant Gilman Collinore and Co. of New York. White plate is banded with embossed flourishes accented with gold. White center is banded by gold encrusting. The area between is a soft lime green.
Based on the mark on the back, these plates were likely made in 1893.

CONDITION Ranges from very good to good, which is gobsmacking for a 130 year old plate. All have wear to the green in varying degrees, likely from being stacked. Wear to the outside gold border on a couple plates as well. Minimal utensil marks.
