Couldn't load pickup availability
Vintage 1940s (or later) dinner plate from the Hartwell Farm restaurant in Lincoln, MA. Made by Walker China, this plate is a slightly gray tinged white with a deep mulberry or plum transfer image of the building. Border is an ornately decorative band with flourishes and flowers. Very sturdy and durable, as you would expect.
The Hartwell Farm restaurant was established in 1928 on the farm, which dated back to 1636. It burned in 1968, but is still maintained by the National Park Service.
SIZE 9.75"
CONDITION Very good condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. A few light utensil marks. Condition is so good one wonders if these were sold as souvenirs in addition to being used in the restaurant.
